Easy Fall Chili Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground turkey 
- 1 large carrot 
- 1 onion 
- 1 big scoop of minced garlic 
- 2 bell peppers 
- 1 poblano pepper 
- 1 can tomato sauce 
- 1/2 cup of water (if needed to make chili less thick!) 
- 1 can kidney beans 
- 2 teaspoon chili powder 
- 2 tablespoon garlic powder 
- 2 teaspoon cumin 
- salt & pepper to taste 
HOW TO MAKE IT
- In your chili pot sauté your chopped peppers, carrot, minced garlic and onion w oil, adding salt and pepper. (3-4 min) 
- Add your ground meat (I chose turkey for a leaner option), add your seasonings, and break up the meat. 
- Let it all cook for 5-7 min on medium-high heat. 
- Add your tomato sauce and water if the consistency is too thick for your liking and give it a nice stir. 
- Add more salt and pepper, add your can of kidney beans, and stir. 
- Let simmer on a medium-low heat for 45 minutes and stir occasionally. (add more seasonings to your taste and stir) 
- Serve with cheese on top and a dollop of sour cream to enjoy on your next cozy fall night!
