☕ Bean There, Boozed That

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz vodka

  • ¼ oz vanilla syrup

  • 2½–3 oz tonic water, very cold

  • 1 shot fresh espresso, about 1 oz

  • Ice

  • Orange peel for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.

  2. Pour in 1½ oz vodka and ¼ oz vanilla syrup into the glass.

  3. Add 2½–3 oz tonic water and give it one gentle stir.

  4. Brew a fresh shot of espresso and let it sit for 30–60 seconds so it isn’t too hot.

  5. Slowly pour the espresso over the back of a spoon onto the tonic. This gives you that pretty layered effect and helps prevent the tonic from aggressively foaming.

  6. Express an orange peel over the top and drop it in to enjoy.

TIP: ADD tonic before espresso!
